Many teenage girls are becoming teenage moms younger and younger each year. There are also many more teen moms this year then there has been in quite a while. While some girls try to prevent getting pregnant with birth control or other forms of protection, many females still end up having a baby. I think it's not a great idea for a teenager having a baby. They aren't matured enough to handle the responsibility and don't have the money to afford raising the child. So in some cases girls give their child away for adoption, like in the money "Juno." A 16-year-old girl named Juno got pregnant with a boy names Paulie Bleeker. They decided that neither of them could raise or afford a baby, so they gave it up for adoption. They knew that their child would have a better life with their adopted parents. Also in some cases though, girls choose to keep their baby, like in the TV Series "The Secret Life of The American Teenager." A 15-year-old girl named Amy went off to band camp and came back with the news that she was pregnant. At first everyone was upset and surprised, but eventually everyone just got used to it. She thought about putting up her child for adoption and was very close to doing so, but then she came to the conclusion that she wanted to keep it. The father of her son agreed to help out as much as he could to, so Amy had it better than most girls. I think that you should think twice before making a big decision like that and be careful with what you do.
